With over 20 years of experience in business intelligence and business applications marketing, Crispin Read currently serves as Vice President of Business Intelligence Investments at Opus Capital. Read joined Opus Capital from Microsoft Corp., where he served as General Manager of Microsoft’s ERP business, leading product management and marketing for Microsoft Corp.’s portfolio of enterprise resource planning (ERP) applications. In this role he was responsible for ERP strategy and execution worldwide. Prior to Microsoft, he was Chief Marketing Officer at Cartesis SA, a venture-backed financial performance management company that was acquired by Business Objects in 2007. From 1995 to 2004, Crispin served in various roles at Business Objects, including Vice President of Product Management and Vice President of Product Marketing. During this period Business Objects grew revenues from $30M to $930M.
